wow congratulations...I hope you'll remember all us mere mortals when you are living it up with your mega jackpot winnings...

There's so many of these things and some are very lame - do you think there are any people who actually fall for these scams?

I love the scam baiting that these type of scams have spawned, particuarly the nigerian 419 scams - the scam baiting websites are hysterical!

  6. NM ~ thanks hon, of course I'll still remember you after I've cashed the cheque, who else will be keeping me company on the beach in Hawaii?

Scam baiting? I must do some research, that sounds interesting.

  8. cdm ~ greetings and salutations. I'm a bit put out that they gave you an extra £50,000. Therefore, I think you need to get the first round of drinks in.

Lets go to Tobago first, hang out in Crown Point for a few weeks, work our way up to Miami, we could then fly out to Hawaii and then decide which beach to hit when we're there. Does that sound like a plan?

  10. Another Anonymous ~ wow! yet another winner. It wasn't my intention to set up a Winners Club, but hey, why not? After all, winning such a significant amount of money is bound to attract jealousy from our more impecunious friends, especially as we adopt a bling lifestyle.

By the way, my total winnings are now £2,000,000. I got a notification to another e-mail address that I'd won £1.5m yesterday. Oh yeah, I'm rolling in it.

  11. I am a winner too!!!
And I definitely vote for Hawaiiiii
The interesting thing is that I have the same batch, reff number and winning number...as Roses and "anonymous"

Has anyone tried to call??? Just for the laugh...
And even if this is a scam, is there anywhere to report it?
(Note I am still hanging on to the hope of this not being a scam...tempted for the first time about money!)

  12. Hello Ale, and welcome.

Don't worry we will get to Hawaii eventually. We just need to decide which island we're going to first.

So you got the same e-mail, with the same reference number? hmmm....

Lazy scamming bastards, couldn't even be bothered to come up with a different letter. To be honest, I have no idea who to report them to.

    Anybody got any ideas?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Anonymous3:16 pm

Wow! You are all taking a trip. Not me. I won too and I'm going to buy an island instead....lol...

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hello Anon ~ well, that depends on how much you won really. If you're thinking of buying a small island somewhere hot, not being funny or anything, but you'll need more that £2m. But I'm not proud, I don't mind organising a house warming for you.

  15. This is going to be such a fun trip to the beach, knowing I won't be alone, but with all the winners. I too am 500 thousand pounds richer. Wow! I can hardly wait to get my check. I am so done with the snow and cold, Hawaii is looking mighty fine. See you all there. We will hoola till we drop.

  16. Anonymous2:53 am

WOW!! I won too.... I'm 1/2 tempted to fill it out and see what type of scam they pull on me. Or if they just send troves of junkmail to my house.... be fun to see. note the fact that they want my nationality and phone# 2x. XD
