I'm having a laid back time and this just hits the spot, even though it's the wrong time of year.

Hmmm. Could one dance to that?
ReplyDeletedave ~ yes, one can dance to that. Would you care to?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure dancing's really me.
ReplyDeleteStrange really but I hate Neil Young - an ex-boyfriend (yes many years ago) loved him and along with Pink Floyd The Wall used to play them non-stop. I ended up hating him (he was always looking for something better) - and the music. It is strange how certain songs, artists link in the mind to people and it just can't be got over. Will say it was also music of the previous generation and that pissed me off.
ReplyDeleteBut other songs fill me with such happy memories - Ant Music by Adam and the Ants (I know sad but my wedding song) and Gloria Estefan Can't live without you (a rather naughty moment that still makes me smile).
Hey music and memories - interesting.
dave ~ me neither, but it was worth asking.
ReplyDeletemoggie ~ strange isn't it how music ends up with such emotional connotations. I can't listen to Portishead's Dummy because of a particularly vile time in my life. Puts me straight back there. Bleugh.
I can remember driving around Norfolk in 1971 listening to "Old Man take a Look at My Life". It's strange to think I am that old man now! And I'm still driving around Norfolk in a blinking van.
