Bank Holiday Sunday
Dear Dave I woke up today with Philip Glass' Metamorphosis in my head. It's apt really as it was part of the music chosen for your...

Yay, you got it to work! :) I do recommend 'Bent' if you like funky chillout stuff. They're not really of the same stable as Faithless, but good all the same. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Ing. I did find some BENT (not Brent - just put it down to my dodgy spelling and typing) on-line. When I downloaded their album I also downloaded Pure Moods CD1, which I'm currently listening to.
ReplyDeleteI came into electronica in the late 80s when I was introduced to Mike Oldfield (if you just spat in disgust, you'll clean it up before you go), I moved on to Tangerine Dream and then got into the whole Chill Out vibe. Faithless, I love to bits, but also like Enigma and a whole host of dippy hippy music - ethnic and new age.
I've been told I have the worst musical taste ever by one of the other trainees. We decided to remain friends when I said I'd seen David Bowie live twice in one year.
I'm with you on the strange taste in music, mine is equally-crazilly wide-ranging.
ReplyDeleteMike Oldfield. Check. Yep, been there, listened to that back in the day. Was a big Jean-Micheal Jarre fan too!
Drop me an email or add me on MSN if you're bored. I'd love to hear what you thought of Bent. Which album did you get? :)
