Bloody Stoopit

"We're here. You can get off now."

"That's fine, I'm not intending to get off."

"What do you mean? This is the last stop."

"I'm doing an art project on bus travel, this is my bus pass for this month, so I can travel your circuit."

"I can see what it is."

"Do you want me to get off?"

"I don't mind what you do, I think you're bloody stoopit. Don't know why you'd bother."

I got off anyway.

  2. Hi Tim

Yeah, I wimped out didn't I? I just didn't feel like having the next 20 mins of the trip grumping because of him.

The next bus I got on was a complete contrast. The driver was a real sweetie.

Thanks for the compliment, I hope you'll drop by again.

We have an old lass who gets on the bus and just goes back and forth for a few hours. The thing is she refuses a free bus pass and so we have to charge her (although we do make sure we give her a return ticket). The worst bit is having to wake her up at the end of each return so that she can pay for her next return ticket.

  4. Oh bless. You've reinforced my view that most bus drivers are absolute sweethearts.

I suppose she must do it for the warmth and the comfort of the motion. But it must be difficult for you to see someone like her who obviously is missing some essential support.
