Who Loves Me Baby?
This was waiting for me when I got home this evening.
Come along, 'fess up. Who was it?
It made me laugh and laugh. It filled me with light.Thank you so much.
Update: A late night phone call solved this mystery. Northern Bloke gave it to me! He ordered it from the US about 3 weeks ago. I think I might just have to keep him.

I would never send a Helen Keller quote!
ReplyDeleteI wrote an essay about her being an over-rated crank in 10th grade English class. The teacher, in tears, read it to all the other sections.
It wasn't me either.
ReplyDeletevon LX ~ oh boy. Well, whether she was or wasn't that's still my favourite quote.
ReplyDeletedave ~ nope. I knew that.
Mr Von Lux... was the teacher in tears of laughter or tears of joy???
ReplyDeleteI only ask as I had a similar experience, but in my case it was tears of laughter and it wasn't about Helen Keller.

Let the Helen Keller jokes begin.
ReplyDelete@ Miss Scarlet: It was tears of laughter! She kept breaking up whilst reading it to our section. People in other sections reported the same to me.
ReplyDeleteA couple of years after I graduated, the teacher had a nervous breakdown. I do not know if the two are related.
Damn, you people make me laugh loads.
ReplyDeletems scarlet ~ so who was your report on?
It wasn't so much a report. The French teacher at school made me stand up in class and read aloud a passage in French, when I had finished, through tears of laughter, she informed the class that I was a typical example of how English people speak French, i.e. badly.
