MCW Muppet's Christmas Carol

This is my favourite Christmas movie. Yes, it does make me cry at the end. For I am of soft heart and brain.

Enjoy!

  6. Drat! The video wouldn't play for me. But I love the Muppets. Miss Piggy is my favorite—MOI!

Happy Movie Clip Wednesday, and I hope you and yours enjoy a very Merry Christmas!

  7. moi ~ Nooooooo! Not fair. Damn YouTube. I'm not the least bit surprised Miss Piggy is your favourite, for she is a true feminist icon.

Thank you honey. Hope you and yours are snuggled up and are in the warm. Have a great one.

  8. I love the Muppets too. I've been told I often act like one of the two craggy old guys in the audience.

    Happy MCW!

  9. ms boxer ~ you don't look anything like them. The Muppets figure highly in my childhood. Personally, I'm Janice.

  10. z ~ really? Who'd have thought it. I put you down as Rolf, the pianist. He's classy.

  11. The Muppets do Scrooge - it's always been a favourite combination :)

And my capcha is 'rosing' - how appropriate :)

  12. Happy Solstice Roses,

Sorry I missed your post yesterday.

I haven't seen much of the Muppets, too old for Sesame Street and I'd stopped watching television by the time they went into primetime. The clip was funny though.

A very Merry Christmas to you and yours!

  13. "our assets are frozen" good line. Love the muppets. They were on TV the same time as Sha-na-na. You either liked Kermit or Bowser.

Mery Christmas to you in jolly old Englan where my grandfather left in 1629.

  14. I've never watched that. I love the Muppets though. Pigs in space, OH YES!

Merry Christmas darling! I must get back to my disastrous eclairs.

  15. ms cake ~ anything with the Muppets has to be a good thing.

karl ~ no one is ever too old for the Muppets. As I missed your solstice post, I think it's okay.

Hope you and yours have a completely lovely Christmas.

mrm ~ I don't know Sha-na-na, but I'm a big fan of Kermit. And have a great Christmas to you too.

cyberpete ~ their version of A Christmas Carol is fantastic. It is definitely worth seeing.

    I don't mind eating disasters.

  16. These eclairs were awful. They were fine on the outside but doughy and sort of eggy on the inside. Not even the most amazing cream cheese raspberry filling could fix it. Had to throw them away.

    Kept the filling though. Yum!

  17. I've seen all the Muppet Movies with my kids. They're up there with Bugs Bunny for kid's shows with humor adults can appreciate.

    Happy MCW and Merry Christmas.

Laughing at the Madman's comment about his grandfather.

  18. cyberpete ~ awww hon. Sorry to hear your eclairs didn't do the job. I'd still have helped you eat the filling.

buzz kill ~ there are somethings which haven't survived the end of childhood (Scooby Do being one), but the Muppets just rock.

Merry Christmas to you and yours. Hope you have a good one.
